What is CampusHub and why would I need this at my school?

CampusHub is a messaging, communication, and operational efficiency platform that helps schools build a stronger community of students, parents, family members, and faculty/staff.
CampusHub is a leading digital solution for schools with a range of tools, including school academic calendars, extracurricular activity postings, reservations, staff appreciation awards, student recognition awards, feedback surveys, school delay/closure announcements, emergency messaging, push messaging, and much more.

CampusHub school communication software solutions make it easy for you to communicate all the relevant information about your school to students, parents, family, and staff through a mobile app (Anrdoid and iOS), laptop/desktop, indoor/outdoor digital signage, and roadside marquees.

How long will it take you to get my school set up?

For the mobile app and signage solutions, we make every effort to get your School activated within 72 hours. Most of the time, we'll have you up and running within an hour from receiving all the necessary community information including contact information, images of the school, logo, reservation schedules, integration credentials, and admin users. As soon as we activate your school, you will have the ability to add users, activities, meals, media, and more. From there, it's up to you how quickly you want to roll it out to students, parents, family members, and staff.

Because our Outdoor digital roadside marquees are custom made to fit your school’s specific needs & location, the total process can take up to 90 days from the day of contract signing. Local permitting, design review & professional stamping/certification, manufacturing, and installation are all considerations and an important part of the process. Of course, we work diligently with you to complete the project as soon as possible- but tempered with the knowledge that roadside marquees are a very long term resource for your school and shouldn’t be rushed.

How much does CampusHub cost?

We offer three different plans, Essentials (free-forever), Pro ($299/month/school) and Enterprise (varies based on your specific situation). The best part about the pricing of our school software is that there are no limits on the number of users and, for Pro and Enterprise subscribers, all of the new features we develop are added to your plan at no additional cost. We hate getting "nickel and dimed" and we promise not to do it to you.

Roadside marquees are quoted on a case by case basis, but we consistently provide solutions that are higher in resolution and lower in cost than that of other providers.

Where will I get trained to use the system and who will train my staff?

We offer several training options and support materials including hands-on training via a video calls, lots of tutorial videos.

Students & Family

Can I reach my teacher/my student’s teacher directly through the app?

CampusHub can serve as a communication and messaging pathway between teachers and students/parents, yes. However, each school may have different policies and procedures that may or may not involve CampusHub as a primary communication source for individual contact. Please consult with your school/district to understand their elected usage of CampusHub.

Do all app users have access to and information on my child?

No, absolutely not. The only app users that will be able to communicate with your student through the app are school staff and approved family members. Other students, other families, and non-approved family members will not be able to communicate with your child through CampusHub.

Do all app users have access to contact information of parents & family members?

Parents & family members can opt in, or opt out, of the public directory in the app. Opting out of the public view will not remove access to contact information by school staff, but will prevent all other app users from being able to message/communicate directly with parents/family.

Staff

Don't we already have this capability through the existing platforms in the District such as Schoology and PowerSchool? (What's different about this product?)

One of the big differentiators with CampusHub is our connection across multiple user facing/user viewing elements. We combine a mobile app with indoor signage, outdoor signage, and roadside marquees to ensure broad communication of important school information. Schoology, PowerSchool, etc. are wonderful resources for schools that focus more on individual classroom specific academic initiatives whereas CampusHub has a more holistic approach to school communication and community building.

Who controls the content?

Your school controls the content shown through our platform.

Will you be able to send documents/attachments?

CampusHub does not currently offer the ability to share documents, but we are evaluating several options as we continue to develop and expand the platform to provide even greater value.

Will there be an option for in-person training?

CampusHub offers several resources from a training perspective. Explainer videos, webinars, live online chat, phone support, etc. are all ways in which we ensure users can easily and effectively learn how to use this platform. In person training may be an option as well, please connect with us to learn more about this.

Is there a character limit or limit to the size of the message?

There are no character or word limits to the messaging and communication that takes place through our platform.
